So after the brave adventurers fight through to the end of this room, they find themselves surrounded by gongs with a very large bell at the end of the room. Disputes about where they go from here break out, until someone gets bored and rings the massive bell.. Suddenly an enormous roar fills the room and makes everyone jump. The brave adventurers get in formation as a dragon flies in from above, with metal plates covering its eyes.. How much threat could a blind dragon pose?

Raid Setup (10 man):

1 Tank
2-3 Healers
6-7 DPS

Raid Setup (25 man):

1 Tank
5 Healers
19 DPS

Overview:

This fight soley rotates around a Sound mechanic, which everyone gets a counter for at the start of the fight. This increases whenever you get hit by one of Atramedes' special abilities, and when it gets full you basically get destroyed very painfully by Atramedes. This means you want to avoid getting your sound to full, dodging as much as you can so you take as little damage as possible therefore increasing your sound as little as possible. The fight is split into 2 phases. A ground phase and an air phase, this is rince and repeat until the boss dies.
The twist with this fight is that there is 1 occasion in ground phase and mabye 1 in air phase where you'll have to use a gong. There are 8 gongs throughout the fight and using one stuns the boss for ~3 seconds and resets everyones sound.

The Abilities:

Ground Phase:

Sound Pulse: Every so often he will do a room-wide aoe pulse giving you a bit of sound and doing some damage. Unavoidable.
Sonic Breath: He'll target a random member and face them, then do a conal breath attack and move in a random direction. Low damage but gives insanely high amounts of sound. Avoid this!!
Searing Flames: Makes meteors drop on lots of random raid members leaving fire patches + gives stacking damage taken aura and heavy damage and sound. Use a gong the second he starts casting this to stun him and interrupt the cast.
Sound Disks: Spawns 3-4 sound disks that fly around the room randomly. Dont do damage but getting hit will give you a massive sound increase, easy to spot and avoid.

Air Phase:

Sound Flame: Flames that he puts on the ground that he follows random people with, getting slowly faster. Doesnt do much damage but gives insane sound, use speed boosts on them to kite them as best as you can and if its about to reach anybody then use a gong. Not always needed in this phase but have someone ready just incase.
Sound Disks: Spawns 3-4 sound disks that fly around the room randomly. Dont do damage but getting hit will give you a massive sound increase, easy to spot and avoid.
Sonic Blasts: Random balls of sonic energy that he shoots seemingly randomly on the floor. Dont get hit by them!

The Fight:

Basically tank the boss in the middle of the room. He does no cleave, no tail swipe or anything like a normal dragon, he just has his own special abilities. Focus on getting hit by as little as you can to make sure everyone stays as low on sound as possible. DPS him until the air phase, using the gong to interrupt the Searing Flames, and just play it safe until the air phase.
During the air phase the Sound Disks will continue spawning, and are able to spawn ontop of you, but dont start moving/increasing sound for a couple of seconds so be fast at moving and dodging the sonic blasts he shoots down. Whoever is being followed by the beam will need to use their eyes because there is no debuff telling you that your being followed. Keep mobile and use speed boosting abilities to kite it around for as long as you can. After a while boss will land again and then its just rinse and repeat those two phases until the boss dies. Very simple fight as long as people arent being stupid.
You will need to assign one person to be the Gong-man, we used a hunter as they are ranged dps and mobile with good cooldowns if needed. People in the raid need to be very vocal about how their sound is, and if they start getting close to full you need to use the gong early which could cause problems later on but its better than lots of early deaths especially when learning the fight.
This gong guy also needs to be fast with clicking the gong during Searing Flames and has to make sure that he uses a gong if the air phase flames get close to anyone. Better safe than sorry!
